This composition is born from the philosophical harmony of two pinnacle works by People’s Artist Khalida Safarova — “Sunny Land” and “Golden Autumn.” These two paintings capture the poetry of Azerbaijani rural life, the eternal unity of humanity and nature, and the spiritual nobility of hardworking people. The composition unites the essence of both works, creating a new artistic meaning that expresses the philosophy of life through color.

Khalida Safarova’s artistic legacy represents one of the brightest examples of Azerbaijani painting dedicated to the rural theme, reflecting both its spiritual and emotional depth. The yellow, orange, and golden tones embody the mature wisdom of the earth and the richness of the harvest season. In the apple-picking scene, female figures are portrayed not merely as laborers but as symbols of the people’s strength, abundance, and grace.
